Norway’s sons Röyksopp have just revealed their brand new video for their single I Had this Thing, taken from their 2014 album The Inevitable End.
The video compliments the delicate vocals of collaborator Jamie Irrepressibles, depicting the all-too-familiar feelings of confusion and pain associated with young love. Here we see a young couple separated after an argument, as apocalyptic scenarios unfold around them.
Röyksopp released their fifth and final studio album The Inevitable End in November 2014. They were due to tour the release in Australia with appearances at Falls Festival and Southbound, but cancelled last minute – shattering hearts around the country in the process.
This new video should at least help subdue the very real heartbreak.
